Bunnings finds a home in Growthpoint's Botanicca build

Growthpoint Properties Australia has landed one of Melbourne's largest recent office-leasing deals in the middle of a pandemic, securing hardware retailer Bunnings as anchor tenant for a speculative office building in the city-fringe suburb of Richmond.

Growthpoint beat out rival Charter Hall to secure the 10-year-plus lease from Bunnings for almost 13,900sq m of the 19,500sq m in its Botanicca 3 building that was completed in February without a tenant – just as COVID-19 started sending workers home in the Victorian capital.
