Blundy’s Aventus hits new high as homemaker centre values soar
Brett Blundy-backed Aventus Group surged to a new high on Wednesday after the owner and operator of homemaker centres booked a quarter of a billion dollars of valuation gains across its portfolio and upgraded its full-year earnings guidance amid “positive trading”.
With strong investor demand for large-format retail properties pushing up selling prices, Aventus booked a $254 million or 12 per cent net boost to the value of its portfolio of 20 centres, which increased to $2.32 billion.
