The writing was on the wall – or off the wall, in this case – for Roberts Co’s Victorian business a day before subcontractors pulled their equipment off the building company’s sites.

On Thursday, March 13, removalists started taking artworks off the walls of the company’s William Street office in central Melbourne. The works were part of a collection of Aboriginal and Indigenous art owned by a trust controlled by the family of owner Andrew Roberts.
