Accor's $1.2bn takeover of Mantra set for May 23

The $1.2 billion takeover of Mantra Group by Paris-based giant AccorHotels is set to take effect on May 23, after the sector-defining hotel deal cleared another hurdle by winning Federal Court approval.
The $3.96 a share all-cash takeover, by scheme of arrangement, has already been cleared by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Foreign Investment Review Board.
