Listed Gold Coast developer Citie Centre Ltd yesterday launched a Part A cash and script takeover offer to acquire full control of the beleaguered Berela Ltd.

The bid comes five months after Citie Centre completed a Part C $3.1 million acquisition of a 73.6 per cent stake in Berela and follows recent announcements by Berela of its troubled financial position.
