Northwest Healthcare Properties founder Paul Dalla Lana said the the Canadian property trust's $494 million offer for listed medical property landlord Generation Healthcare REIT represented good value.

Generation's major shareholder and the owner of its management platform unveiled the $2.24 cash bid on Monday, after approaching its quarry for the first time only on Friday.
