Brisbane CBD is suffering from student accommodation oversupply: Wee Hur
Parts of Brisbane are suffering from an oversupply of student accommodation but a strategically placed project will continue to thrive from the growing number of foreign students in the Queensland capital, Singapore-listed property developer Wee Hur said.
Wee Hur chief executive Wee Ping Goh said the oversupply was confined to the CBD and along the river in South Bank as he and Brisbane lord mayor Graham Quirk officially opened the company's newest facility, the 1578-room UniLodge Park Central in Woolloongabba on Thursday. The property is the largest accommodation in the country.
