Residential developer AVJennings has taken a hit on its interim earnings as its shifts the main driver of its revenue into built housing, away from selling land lots.

Steered by managing director Peter Summers, the change in focus is partly due to the nature of the projects now underway, and partly a change in strategy as the booming housing market matures.
