Australian Tourism Group is back in the black following last year's $15.1 million write-down of its investment in Reef Casino Trust.

The group yesterday announced interim net profit of $1.2 million, a turnaround from an $11 million loss for the same period last year, brought about by the write-down on the group's 20 per cent stake in Reef. An abnormal loss of $2.6 million remained from the write-down but revenue increased marginally to $11.2 million.
