'Workable progress' on digital tax options needed in coming months

Countries co-operating to tax digital giants including Facebook and Google need to reach an acceptable and politically workable plan in the new few months, Australian experts say.

Last week the OECD welcomed "important progress" on consideration of the best way to tax large digital players working around the world, which it hopes will be achieved through multilateral co-operation and a consensus-based solution in 2020.
