Listed general insurer FAI Insurances Ltd was still in the dark yesterday concerning the identity of the buyer and seller of large lines of the company's shares over the past two days.

About 20 million shares were traded on Monday, and a further 23.8 million changed hands yesterday. FAI shares ended the day unchanged at 62¢.
