Western Australia will drop quarantine requirements for travellers from NSW amid a simmering feud between the two states over the economic burden of COVID-19, as WA’s budget surplus hit $2.2 billion on the back of iron ore royalties.
WA will open its border to both NSW and Victoria from midnight after deciding travellers from the two states posed a minimal COVID-19 risk.
