WA Liberal leader sounds alarm on business donations

West Australian Liberal leader Zak Kirkup has warned of a climate where the state’s Labor government, set to be re-elected with a massive majority, favours businesses that make donations or fork out to attend party fundraisers.
Mr Kirkup, battling to hold his own seat in next Saturday’s election, said he was concerned by feedback from the business community about what was needed to get the ear of the Labor government.
