Victoria's bungled hotel quarantine program has claimed another leader after the secretary of Victoria's Health and Human Services Department, Kym Peake, stepped down.

Ms Peake's departure follows the resignation of her minister, Jenny Mikakos, and the head of the Premier's department, Chris Eccles, after a breach in hotel quarantine sparked a second wave of the COVID-19 virus in Victoria.
