Turnbull, Kroger trade blows over ‘toxic’ Liberal leadership

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and former Liberal prime minister Malcolm Turnbull have blasted the Victorian Liberals for flirting with “fringe elements” of the “hard right”, which they blamed for the party’s devastating election loss.

Mr Turnbull was hitting back after the former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger blamed Mr Turnbull’s “toxic” leadership for the 2018 “Danslide”.
