Telstra rivals join ACCC in court stoush

Eight of Telstra's biggest rivals are to join a landmark legal stoush against the company today, in a dramatic step to widen a test case that will determine prices across the $31 billion phone market.
The move by Optus, AAPT and others is aimed at buttressing the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission against an aggressive challenge from Telstra over how prices are set on local phone lines.
