A Melbourne plastic fabrics company capitalising on the increasing demand for UV protection is poised to raise up to $20 million and list on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Gale Pacific, which holds about 80 per cent of the Australian shadecloth market and has a fast-growing business in architectural and agricultural applications of its advanced polymer fabrics, is set to produce sales revenue of about $45 million in 2000-01.
