Queensland Education Minister Grace Grace has contracted COVID-19, just days before she was to outline the state’s return to school plans for early next month.
As Queensland recorded 11 deaths and 9546 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, health officials are confident the omicron wave is close to peaking in the populated south-eastern corner.
