Shares in Schaffer Corp have come under pressure after the company revealed its 83 per cent owned subsidiary Howe Leather had slashed 10 per cent of its staff after losing a second Australian contract to a South African supplier.

The stock dived 3.6 per cent or 44 ¢ to $11.76 on Friday after suffering heavier falls earlier in the week.
