San Miguel Corp, the Philippines' biggest beer maker, has announced plans to produce its own brands in Australia later this year, expanding its business in the Pacific region.

San Miguel will brew two of its biggest brands, Pale Pilsen and Super Dry, using the facilities of J Boag & Son Ltd after it completes the acquisition of the Australian brewer, spokesman Mr Jorge Marco said, citing San Miguel's chairman, Mr Eduardo Cojuangco.
