Report warns of ‘risks’ seconding police to Qld anti-corruption body
Corruption-buster and former judge Tony Fitzgerald has recommended Queensland’s Crime and Corruption Commission review its policy of seconding police officers, saying public confidence needs to be restored to the anti-corruption body.
As part of a 225-page report submitted to the Palaszczuk government on Tuesday, Mr Fitzgerald also argued that prosecutors should review potential charges before pushing ahead with them.
