Prana Biotechnology shares fizzled yesterday after a stellar 72 per cent surge last Friday on the back of the successful trial of a drug for Alzheimer's Disease.

Melbourne-based Prana announced late last Thursday that a clinical trial of its Alzheimer's drug, PBT-1, had been successful, although detailed results were not released.
