Polls open as Queensland decides: Palaszczuk or Frecklington

Queenslanders are voting on Saturday to approve or repudiate Labor Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's handling of the coronavirus pandemic and other issues.
Polling booths opened at 8am (9am AEDT) and will close at 6pm (7pm AEDET). Counting will begin immediately to decide if Labor will get a third term or if Liberal National Party leader Deb Frecklington will form the next government.
