Western Australia's corruption watchdog has found that Lisa Scaffidi failed in her duties as the Lord Mayor of the City of Perth by not disclosing gifts and travel contributions including an all-expenses paid trip to the 2008 Beijing Olympics worth almost $US37,000.
In a report released on Monday – less than two weeks before Ms Scaffidi stands for re-election – the Corruption and Crime Commission said there was "serious misconduct". It did not find Ms Scaffidi had acted corruptly.
