The Perrottet government is facing a fresh political spot fire after ICAC was asked to look at a senior official’s resignation letter, which allegedly raised the relationship of a minister’s office with a Sydney developer.

As the scandal over John Barilaro’s appointment to a US trade post continues to hang over the government, a property developer with links to the former deputy premier has cropped up in allegations regarding the abrupt resignation of building commissioner David Chandler.
