Queensland Treasurer Cameron Dick says the economic and budgetary recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic will take years, despite a strong bounceback from last year’s lockdowns.
Ahead of delivering his second budget on Tuesday – and the seventh for the Palaszczuk Labor government – Mr Dick warned the effects of the pandemic, especially on the state’s tourism and education sectors, would linger.
