Late fashion designer and businesswoman Carla Zampatti will be recognised in the NSW budget with a $10 million venture capital fund supporting start-ups led by women.

NSW Treasurer Matt Kean revealed details of the female-focused fund ahead of the budget on June 21, which is expected to include a suite of initiatives aimed at improving economic opportunities for women to stoke broader productivity and economic output.
