Minproc sheds turmoil and moves into the black

Engineering and construction company Minproc Ltd has cast aside the turmoil of the past to return to the black by posting an interim net profit of $2.4 million for the first half of 1997-98.
After a $27 million abnormal loss flowing from the recapitalisation of the company's balance sheet slashed earnings in the previous corresponding period, managing director Mr Kevin Wealand said the recovery of Minproc was progressing strongly.
