Minproc confident of a turnaround

Loss-making Western Australia-based Minproc Engineers Ltd said yesterday it was confident it would secure three new design and construction contracts worth $200 million in the next three months.

The group also revealed yesterday that its chief executive, Mr Peter Anderton, would step down from his position after a turbulent year in which the company was plagued by a series of operational problems and courtroom battles.
