Adelaide-based minerals explorer Maximus is down about 55 per cent for the year and is now trading just above all-time lows.

Despite its name, the stock is valued at a very small $12 million. After listing at 20¢ in 2005, it traded at a high of 42.6¢ last year but has fallen sharply since.
