Making money from renewable energy credits? Government only has itself to blame

Energy companies say they're making good money out of Renewable Energy Target credits at current high prices but they strongly reject a charge of "corporate greed" levelled by federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor.

They say the federal government is responsible for the high Large-scale Generating Certificate (LGC) prices they've enjoyed for the last few years because its review of the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme when Tony Abbott was prime minister triggered an LGC shortage.
