Labor staves off Greens to retain Northcote by just 184 votes

Labor has retained the seat of Northcote by less than 200 votes, meaning the Daniel Andrews government staved off the Greens’ threat on its left flank and edges closer to equalling its dominant 2018 result.
The minor party went into the Victorian election with the aim of winning Northcote, Albert Park and Richmond off Labor and force Daniel Andrews into a progressive minority government.
