Anglo Australian Resources NL believes it may have uncovered a new base metals system after exploration success at its Mt Angelo prospect in the Kimberley of Western Australia.

The company's chairman, Mr John Jones, said yesterday several encouraging intersections had come from shallow drilling which also indicated the mineralisation could be equivalent to that at the nearby Koongie Park, where a spectacular drilling hit was also announced.
