Kennett says wife still has Haoma shares
The Victorian Premier, Mr Jeff Kennett, has disclosed that his wife still holds shares in the speculative mining stock Haoma Mining , which is reportedly being investigated by the Australian Securities Commission over fluctuations in its share price.
The disclosure followed his confirmation that he had participated in the floats of Seven Network and Woolworths in 1993, as well as Guangdong Corporation, the underwriter of which is associated with a leading figure in the Victorian gaming industry.
