CLYDE Industries Ltd yesterday announced its crushing equipment manufacturing division Jaques Australia has bought United States vertical shaft impact (VSI) crusher manufacturer The Canica Corp for an undisclosed amount.

Jaques chief executive Mr David Bishop said the acquisition was expected to perform strongly as the demand for high specification aggregate increased, especially with large infrastructure projects.
