Is time up for Palaszczuk?
The LNP is now benefiting from hammering Ms Palaszczuk over Labor’s handling of cost-of-living, housing, crime, and health issues.
The Australian Financial Review‘s exclusive Freshwater Strategy poll suggests that Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk would lose if an election were held today.
There is an “it’s time” factor at work here, eating into Ms Palaszczuk personal popularity, especially after her highly parochial hard-border populism during the pandemic was a major factor in Labor securing a historic third term at the 2020 state election.
