Helix Resources NL warned yesterday it would be uneconomic to develop a mine at its Tunkillia prospect in South Australia's Gawler Craton if the gold price remained at low levels.

Exploration manager Mr Tony Martin told the Diggers and Dealers conference in Kalgoorlie that the company was aiming to concentrate its future exploration efforts in the central part of the Tunkillia anomaly in a bid to establish a resource estimate for the area.
