A defiant Pauline Hanson has stood by her intervention in the NSW One Nation branch and the turfing out of state leader Mark Latham, arguing action was required after the NSW party fielded candidates in just 17 of the state’s 93 lower house seats in the March election.
A spokesman for Senator Hanson, who leads One Nation federally, confirmed she was yet to exchange words with Mr Latham over the events last week, where a slew of the conservative party’s powerbrokers took over the NSW branch, arguing its flagging performance required steadying.
