The manoeuvring in Australia's egg industry took a further turn yesterday when egg producers in four States announced they would join forces to set up a new egg marketing company known as Novo Foods.

The SA Egg Co-operative, NSW Egg Producers Co-operative, WA Egg Marketing Board and Pure Foods Eggs (Tasmania) have linked to form the national marketing company, with an estimated annual turnover of $63 million.
