Woman charged after egging attempt on Scott Morrison
A 24-year-old woman who hit Prime Minister Scott Morrison with an egg during a campaign stop in Albury on Tuesday has been charged with common assault and drug possession.
The woman, who was allegedly found to be in possession of cannabis after the incident, said her attempt to disrupt Mr Morrison's visit to a Country Women's Association event was motivated by Australia's offshore detention of refugees on Manus Island and Nauru.
