The Voice to parliament is within reach of achieving the double majority required to change the Constitution, with new research showing little movement among voters when arguments for and against the proposal are explained.
But in the latest snapshot of the campaign ahead of a referendum due in about October, a new survey by JWS Research shows a knowledge gap exists about how the national vote will actually work, while understanding of the Voice proposal is improving.
