Virus inquiry must be transparent, credible: Payne
Australia has echoed the United States and United Kingdom with concerns about a lack of transparency over the probe into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic after some investigators complained Chinese officials withheld information from them.
Foreign Minister Marise Payne said the medical experts’ final report needed to be “thorough and credible”, with the pandemic highlighting the need to reform the World Health Organisation.
