Victorian local virus case likely infected in SA quarantine

Victoria looks set to avoid further restrictions despite recording its first new locally acquired COVID-19 case in more than 70 days on Tuesday, as health authorities work on a theory that the man was infected in an Adelaide quarantine hotel.

The Melbourne man, aged in his 30s, tested positive to the virus after completing a fortnight of hotel quarantine in South Australia after returning from overseas.
