Victorian bushfire threat eases as financial help flows to victims
Victoria’s bushfire threat has finally eased after the massive blaze tore through more than 76,000 hectares in the Grampians National Park and Macedon Range.
Support will become available for bushfire-affected workers on Monday afternoon after the blaze destroyed at least three homes and nearly a dozen outbuildings across the region over the Christmas period. The landmass burned is about the same size as Singapore.
