Victoria records worst day of new COVID-19 cases

Victoria recorded its worst day on record for new coronavirus cases on Monday, revealing two deaths and 127 new cases, including 16 from locked-down public housing towers.

It was the state's 20th consecutive day of double-digit case growth, coming on the back of 172 new cases over the weekend, and brings the total number of active cases to 646.
