Victoria lags the country on anti-business payroll tax

Victoria and the ACT have the country’s least business-friendly payroll tax systems, holding back business investment and productivity, according to major new research.

Analysis of state and territory government regulation, tax and planning rules by the Business Council of Australia has found South Australia and NSW lead the country with the most competitive payroll settings for business.
