Vic unions prepare court case over Labor preselections
A group of trade unions is preparing legal action against the Labor Party to challenge the seizure of control of the Victorian division by the national executive.
The Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union and other unions have been briefed by lawyers on a legal challenge to the federal intervention, which was prompted by allegations last year of mass fake membership, three party sources said.
