US companies’ demands for FIRB changes will be considered: Treasurer

Changes to Australia’s strict foreign investment rules urged by US companies will be considered alongside a separate government review into the new regime.
Companies such as Blackstone, Boeing, Chevron, Citi, Google, Pfizer, Tesla and Twitter criticised the government’s restrictive foreign investment rules and recommended significant changes in a report compiled by PwC and the American Chamber of Commerce.
