Union leader charged over pro-Palestinian port protest

The Sydney leader of the maritime union is among pro-Palestinian protestors who were arrested and charged overnight following a rally against the unloading of an Israeli shipping company.
NSW Police charged 19 people under state anti-protest laws including for blocking a roadway and allegedly causing disruption near a major facility at Port Botany in Sydney’s east at about 9.30pm on Sunday.
