Coalition selling false hope with nuclear power ‘bulldust’: Forrest
Andrew Forrest has blasted the Liberal and National parties for advocating nuclear power, saying it is a ploy by the fossil fuel industry to delay for decades the required shift to clean energy.
Mr Forrest, who will address the National Party room at Parliament House on Tuesday, accused the Nationals of “betraying the bush” by offering false hope with a power source that was four-to-five times more expensive than renewable energy and would take a “decade or two” to develop.
